X
X dorset ram

Sidwell 0064
S: Cy

D: Sidwell 7055 (Sidwell 4008 x  Sidwell 228)
Born: February, 2010
QRNN - Twin

(pictured July, 2010).
X is a full brother to the Max ram.  He possesses the same positive attributes as Max, but is even more extreme in his shape.
He is an impressive combination of muscle mass and skeletal design.  X's first lamb crop exceeded
expectations in terms of power, consistency and results.  We are excited about what we will see in 2012.

Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel Dorset ram

Hewlett 10
S: Grand Cayman (Grand Duke x Stardust)

D: Hewlett 818 (Grand x Polar Express)
Born: January 2010
QRNN - Twin
Bred by Hewlett

(pictured July 2010).
Stainless Steel is an exciting addition to our Dorset stud ram battery.  Grand Cayman has had a great deal of success for the Hewletts and Stardust,
and we have been impressed by the consistency of the Cayman x Grand mating.  Genetically, he is of particular interest because he carries
Sidwell genetics on both the sire and dam side of his extended pedigree.   Polar Express is a Sidwell 4008 x 4003 mating, of which
we have 5 full sisters in production.   Stainless Steel is extremely good in his fore rib and wide underneath.  He is expressive
in his top shape and extra wide and flat between his pins.  We were excited to get a ram with this kind of rib and hip shape without
sacrificing the topline and feet and legs we have worked hard to maintain.  Stainless Steel earned his keep in 2011 with several standout
individuals and saw many of the same ewes for 2012.

Jaws cross ram

Sidwell 0092
S: Big Foot (Shotgun x Link)

D: Sidwell 8081 (Power Surge x Shotgun)
Born: February 2010
QRNN - Twin

(pictured July 2010).
Jaws is a full brother to the Reserve Grand Champion Lamb at the 2010 Oklahoma Youth Expo.  He is much like
his brother in terms of his rib design and bone work and is perhaps more expressive in his muscle shape.  He caught
the attention of nearly all who visited this spring and summer as he looks just as good loose as when he is posed.  Jaws saw
a large group of ewes for 2012 lambs that were selected to produce wethers!

Burch 1212
S: Boss Hog (Cabaniss "Road Hog" x 118)
D: FNA
RRNN

We are excited about the addition of Patron to the ram battery.  He is stout and square in his makeup and is backed
by proven and predictable genetics both top and bottom.  Patron was mated to a large group of blackface females
for 2012 lambs, including several top Shotgun daughters as well as our Pea daughters.

(owned with Wise Club Lambs)

Double X

Sidwell 1050
S: X

D: Sidwell 9056 (Sidwell 4008 x  Sidwell 228)
Born: January, 2011
RRNN - Twin

(pictured March, 2011).
Double X is a powerful double bred son of X.  His dam and X's dam are full sisters.  The daughters and granddaughters
of the 228 ewe are prolific, stout and consistent.  This guy is extremely wide and correct in his skeletal makeup and square hipped.
We are excited about several of the matings from this guy in 2012.

Wise Blue 313
S: "Shotgun"  Cabaniss 096-04 (177-02 x Stroker)

D: Wise Ewe ("Link" x "E-Mail")
Born: February 2008
QRNN - Twin
Bred by Wise Club Lambs

(pictured July 2008).

We are pleased to have acquired one of the few rams sired by the proven "Shotgun" ram of Wise's.
Shotgun has been a phenomenal producer of both powerful wethers and high quality, potent females.
We are also proud to have over a dozen of these Shotgun daughters in our own flock.
Big Foot is similar to his sire in terms of phenotype, and we expect him to produce similarly as well.
He is extreme in his fore rib, wide and expressive over his rack and loin, square butted and, as his name implies,
very, very heavy boned.  Big Foot sired an intriguing set of lambs in his first lamb crop, including the Reserve Grand Champion
at the 2010 Oklahoma Youth Expo.  His lambs carry his bonework and front end design and seem to get even better the longer they mature.

The 2012 lambs will also be sired by a Casino son leased from Brad Anderson and a young hamp cross son of our best Shotgun ewe.

Reference Sires

Pea
Pea cross ram

Wise Black 101
S: Squirt Gun (Arsenal x Shotgun)

D: Shotgun x Link
Born: January 2010

RRNN
Bred by Wise Club Lambs

(pictured July, 2010).
We feel fortunate to have acquired and interest in Pea.  He was one of the really stout and fuzzy standouts in the early group of lambs
at the Wise's this spring.  He is extremely thick, big boned, firm to the touch and he's excellent in his rib and front end design.  Perhaps his
greatest attribute however is his pedigree.  His dam and his sire's dam are full sisters to each other out of the proven Shotgun ram and the "Pea" ewe.
They are also full sisters to the Wise Blue 211 ewe of Stitzlein's that has produced both champion wethers and the NOS ram.

Maximizer

Sidwell 9037
S: Cy

D: Sidwell 7055 (Sidwell 4008 x  Sidwell 228)
Born: January 2009
QRNN - Twin

(pictured October 2009).
Max is incredibly level, square and thick out of his hip and loin.  He is also straight lined,
flat shouldered and wide underneath.  He has been unique in his thickness and hip design from the start
and has the genetic predisposition to breed this on consistently.  His maternal grand dam, 228, is a true foundation
ewe in our program.  In 2010, Max performed as expected, producing a consistently stout and level hipped
set of babies.  His first lamb crop produced two State Fair winning dorset wethers, several stud rams,
and some exceptional speckle face lambs.

Sonic

S: Tonic (Marcantel 43 x 40)

D: Slammer (Grand Slam) x Demon (Cajun)
Born: 2007
RRNN
Bred by Shell

We are excited about the addition of Sonic for 2010 lambs.  The Marcantel bred sheep have been shown to
work well when combined with both Shotgun and Caesar genetics.  He is extremely level and square out of his hip.
Plus, he's stout boned, sound and good chested.  Our first crop of Sonic lambs was small but very consistent, with
several successful wethers.  The daughters are developing into promising females.

Enfield 739
S: "Game Over" Slack 6183

D: Enfield 243 (double bred Huntrods)
Born:  January 2007
RRNN - Twin
Bred by Enfield Club Lambs

(pictured July 2008).

We purchased Cy in Sedalia as a lamb, and he earned his keep in his first lamb crop.  He is extremely good in
his hip design and consistently transmits this valuable trait to his offspring.  Additionally, he is wide based, thick made,
level designed and has grown into a large impressive buck.

Sidwell 7121
S: Sidwell 4008

D: Sidwell 6040 (Sidwell 5043 (4008 son) x Sidwell 242)
Born: March 2007
QRNN - Single

(pictured June 2008).

Thunderbolt is a double bred son of 4008.  He carries the predictable loin edge and muscle expression
that has made his sire work so well for us, and he is absolutely extreme in his front end design.
He is shallow in his fore rib and extra clean breasted.  Thunderbolt continues to prove himself as
a very potent sire of lambs that have the unique ability, for dorsets,
to continue to get better the longer they are on feed.

Doug
Sidwell 9055
S: Sidwell 4008

D: Sidwell 228
Born: Feb 2009
QRNN - Twin

Doug is another buck lamb that we retained from the 2009 lamb crop.  He is large framed, extremely good hided
and expressively muscled.  Most importantly though, he represents a genetic legacy for us.  His full sisters,
and maternal half sisters are the foundation of the dorset flock here and are the kind that have good lambs
no matter how they are mated.

S: "Perazzi" (Caesar Son x Bodacious)
D: "Git 'R Done" (Caesar Son x Smoky)
Born: March 2006
RRNN
Bred By Winfrey Club Lambs
(pictured June 2006)

We are very excited about the addition of "Arsenal."  There simply aren't many sheep
out there with his kind of loin edge, hip and leg shape.  Let alone those that carry it on such an attractive framework.
He stamps his lambs with a picture perfect fore rib, wide expressive tops, silky hides and fuzzy legs.

Power Surge

Wise Club Lambs Red 201
S: "Link" (Johnson - Scooter x Mayer)
D: "E-Mail" (Cabaniss - Four Son x Noon)
Born: January 2005
RRNN
(pictured July 2005)

Deceased

"Power Surge" possesses a tremendous amount of power and muscle expression and is as heavy boned as they come.
What makes him truly unique though, is that he carries all of this mass on a long, level frame with that smooth shoulder and
shallow chest floor that is in demand right now.  He has grown into a big impressive mature ram.
We regard "Power Surge" as a true stud ram.  His wethers are consistently impressive and
his daughters are as prolific and maternal as they are good looking.

Sidwell 8091
S: "Cy" (Game Over x Huntrod)

D: Sidwell 6030 (Sidwell 4008 x Sidwell 4003)
Born: February 2008
QRNN

(pictured July 2008)

Thanks to the Erickson Family, MN for the purchase of Ice House.

From the moment he hit the ground, Ice House was a potential keeper for us.
By the time he was weaned, we were certain.  His momma is arguably the best dorset
ewe on the place.  She is the product of many generations of top females.
Ice House posses her square rib shape and muscle expression, and we suspect
he will breed on as predictably as she does.  He is also exceptionally square and level in his hip design,
stout and sound in his bone work and travels with his head up and his topline straight.
